Cyclifier.org

Identity developed for cyclifier.org- an online community of enterpreneurs, companies, designers, architects and everybody else who is interested in or contributes to innovations that contribute to local exchange and production. The site allows you to post items at various scales within the reuse-topic. All examples of small commodities, furniture, interiors, buildings and reuse on urban scale are welcomed.

The identity functions as a visual extension of the flow analysis charts which are an integral part of the cyclifier concept.

Queen Sirikit Museum

An identity for the Queen of Thailand's textile museum, opening end 2011. The identity had to be bilingual and incorporate the existing logo of the Queens' foundation. The Support Foundation (The Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques) was founded in 1976 (B.E. 2519) borne of the desire of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit to help Thai people.

The open book shown below is the Queen's personal library of textile swatches she has collected from various villages and producers of authentic Thai silks.

NY Studio School

A redesign of the identity for the New York Studio School, an institution founded in 1964 by Mercedes Matter. The original identity was designed by none other than Herbert Matter (her husband) and the whole vibe of the school was incredibly inspiring and intense. The new identity system is based on archival ephemera. It uses a variety of lockups rather than a single logotype and we created a custom combination of black and silver inks to create a signature graphite color.

Carolyn Ray

A painter who started her company during the art textile movement of the seventies. Here she got recognition for extending the limits of wallcoverings and fabrics has meant finding ways to create unique hand-produced materials that are also durable and reliable. Carolyn Ray was looking for a strong bold mark which conveyed the uniqueness of her textiles. The combination of the Copyright, Registered and Trade Mark symbols plays on a duality only possible by Carolyn’s Initials.
