The Isotypes shown here reflect the advancements in reproductions in terms of technology and reflect the advancement of our societies ability to interpret abstract concepts in simplified forms.

What is the future for the arts in Rotterdam and what is its worth? TENT, WORM, Rotterdam Art Centre and Theatre Ro have taken an initiative in the form of a debate series titled: State of the Art. State of the Art brings together visions of the future of arts and culture in Rotterdam. This series includes essays,YouTube testimonials and conversations with artists, writers, thinkers and experts about the upcoming budget cuts. What will be the motto for a vital art scene in Rotterdam?

MOCA
MOCA (Museum of Chinese in America): With A Single Step presents the journey of the first Chinese immigrants to the USA through present Chinese American heroes. Once the site of a machine shop, Maya Lin designed the new museum facility that expanded their space ten-fold. We designed the exhibition graphics of the permanent exhibition and collaborated with Matter Architecture Practice who did the exhibition design.

The Knot
The Knot is the number one wedding site with 3.2 million unique visitors a month. The redrawn version shown above replaced the original mark and was implemented by an inhouse design team. Its calligraphic nature helps restore an elegance lost and balance which is absent from the original.
